In order to fully implement the rules and regulations within the Party, such as Regulations on Party Branch Work (Trial), Regulations on Education and Management of Party Members of the Communist Party of China and Working Rules for Recruiting Party Members of the Communist Party of China, further standardize the Party members’ development procedures, improve the quality of Party members’ development, and actively respond to the requirements of the organization department of school Party committee on the seriousness and accuracy in reviewing the materials for the development of Party members, the Law School held a centralized review meeting on the materials for the development of Party members on March 18, 2020. The meeting was presided over by Ms. XU Shulin, counselor of the Law School, and attended by the Party building organizers and the branch secretary of college students of Law School.
At the beginning of the meeting, Ms. Xu Shulin first briefly summarized the work of developing Party members in each student Party branch of Law School last year, and pointed out that there were still some problems in the development process, such as insufficient detailed meeting records and nonstandard writing of development materials, etc. In addition, she asked Party building organizers and branch secretaries to shoulder their responsibilities to take the work of developing Party members seriously, carefully check the writing of materials, and correct the nonstandard parts of the materials in time.
After that, the participants reviewed nearly 150 materials for the development of Party members of the Law School in 2020 one by one, and further strictly checked the completeness of materials, the standardization of procedures, the accuracy of statements and other aspects in comparison with the problems raised by the previous review of the school. Through the review, it is found that the material integrity in each branch is good, but there are still a few cases of incorrect or imprecise expression, which needs further improvement in terms of authenticity. Some development procedures are not rigorous enough, and the time in the materials is inconsistent and the order is reversed. Moreover, some Party members should pay more attention to filling in materials, and minimize smearing and modification. Everyone exchanges and discusses while checking. Ms. XU Shulin answered questions and gave feedback on the spot in time to solve the problem of uncertainty in the review, which makes the material review meeting become a work exchange meeting and a business training meeting.
After the meeting, YUE Yang and ZHANG Zhaorui, organizers of student Party building, collected and sorted out the common problems in the material review, and gave feedback to each branch on the problems found in the material review.
