In the winter vocation of 2020, the Law School plans to cooperate with Hong Kong Shue Yan University to jointly organize students to go to Hong Kong to participate in a two-week internship program in courts and law firms. In addition to conduct professional practice in courts and law firms, students will have the opportunity to experience the life and culture of Hong Kong through various activities. Refer to the experience and gains of students participating in previous programs for details.
I. Program Period
From February 9 -22, 2020, the round-trip costs 14 days (tentative).
II. Program Content
Quota: determined based on the interview results
Students will carry out professional practice in high courts and prestigious law firms in Hong Kong.
III. Accommodation and Expenses
Program expenses: include round-trip expenses, accommodation expense, living expense and local transportation expense, which are borne by the students themselves.
IV. Registration Conditions
1. In-campus students of the Law School, despite of the grades.
2. Students should have good command of English, proficient in listening, speaking, reading and writing. Those who have passed TOEFL or IELTS will be given prior consideration.
V. Deadline for Pre-registration and Way of Registration
1. The pre-registration is up to 24:00 October 13, 2019 (Sunday).
2. Download and fill in the Pre-registration Form of the Winter Vocation Internship Program in Hong Kong in the 2019-2020 School Year in Annex 1 and send it to: lilyzhang0808@163.com before the deadline. Please note the matter +applicant’s name in the subject of the file.
VI. Matters Needing Attention concerning Pre-registration
This program is a winter program but does not affect the Spring Festival and enrollment when the new term begins.
