All undergraduate students of the Law School:
In the 2018-2019 school year, the Law School Student Union has completed various tasks successfully with great efforts. In order to further promote the sustainable development of the Law School Student Union, give full play to the role of the Student Union in the construction of campus culture, and provide better service for the Law School students, now according to the regulations of the Student Union system as well as under the guidance of the Sub- CCYL committee of the Law School, the Student Union has decided to hold a general election of the presidium in the near future. The specific arrangements are notified as follows:
I. Office for Election:
Presidium of the Law School Student Union (5 people)
In order to strengthen the connection between the Student Union and each grade, presidium members consist of four 2017 students and one 2018 students.
II. Application Requirements:
1. Full-time undergraduate students of the Law School;
2 Someone who has certain student work experience is preferred.
III. Selection Procedures:
1. Public registration
Students who meet the above requirements can visit the official website of the Law School of Beijing Normal University to check the relevant announcements and download The Registration Form of Candidates for the Presidium of the Student Union of the Law School of Beijing Normal University, or click "read the original text" below to download the registration form.
Please send the application form to BNU2018lawschool@163.com by 12: 00 p.m. on April 20 (Saturday). No more applications will be accepted after the deadline.
2. Qualification examination
The Law School Student Union will examine the applicants' qualifications, and those who pass the examination will enter the primary election.
3. Interview for Primary election
The Law School Student Union will conduct an interview for primary election on April 22 (Monday) for candidates who have passed the qualification examination. The specific time and place will be announced separately.
4. Reply for election
The reply will be held at the Law School Student Congress, and the time and place will be notified separately. The content of the reply mainly includes self-introduction, job understanding, work assumption, etc. It is introduced through PPT, speech, etc. Each person shall not give a speech for more than 3 minutes, and the defense for 2 minutes. At that time, judges will ask questions on the spot.
5. Vote
The student representatives attending the Student Congress will vote on the spot, and the general election for a new presidium should be determined according to the voting results after the tellers count the votes on the spot.
IV. Matters needing attention
In order to ensure the fairness of the election, if there is improper canvassing, the candidate will be disqualified immediately.
