On the morning of November 28th, at 10:00, career development exchange meeting series 4: Beijing Internet court autumn lecture was successfully held in the Room 1822 of the Rear Main Building.
Beijing Internet Court judges, FENG Yu, Director of the Political Office, HAO Li, Officer of the Political Office, CHEN Fangfang and FENG Lijun, Officers of the Office, and LI Niu and LI Xiang, teachers from the Law School Students Affairs Office attended this lecture.
At first, a short propaganda video of Beijing internet court was played to introduce the background of the establishment of the internet court, showing that Beijing internet courts were time requires in order to solve more and more internet disputes and maintain the order of the internet.
Then,students presenting the lecture asked the judges several questions about the types of cases handled by Internet courts, career development, post rotation, case handling process, salary and other issues. The judges combining their own experiences explained that the Internet courts do everything they can to cultivate new comers, and expressed that the Internet courts are in desperate need of fresh people. Besides, new civil servants generally need to have rotation training for multiple positions, which can not only gain the occupational security of civil servant, but also improve their working skills and legal literacy, which is of great help to their future career.
In the end, the judges advanced that everyone should pay attention to the new trend of the internet, and played a short video of judicial procedure, including the case handling process, accepting, trialing, verdict, delivery of the documents are all through internet, which aroused the burst of students.
After the lecture, students continued to ask the judges about the topics they were interested in, exchanged their contact information and took photos together. We believe that our students’ gained a lot from this lecture and that our students’ understanding of Beijing Internet Court are deepened, and their career planning is more clear!
